Hi all! Only 2 more days until the Hawks face So. Illinois in Cali. I'm praying for rain that day because Brett has soccer practice at tip-off. He may just have to miss practice.

So, I've decided to start blogging so you all can keep up with my fun and excitement. Wanna know why my post is called Lucky 8 Ball? Because a group of us chose our NCAA tourny picks with the Lucky 8 Ball and a wheat penny. We have Holy Cross (which we termed Holy Crap) winning the entire thing. Oddly enough, we heard through the grapevine that another group used a coin toss method and ALSO have Holy Crap winning the tourny.......hmmmmmmm.

So, here are some fun things to look up: My bestest friend ever (we're like PB&J) gave me the coolest bracelet. It's a Pandora charm bracelet....look it up. It rocks. ALSO, my most FAVE jewelry site is Somethingsilver.com. I bought a ring from their store in Anaheim and I love their jewelry. Specifically the Far Fetched Talk Talk line.

My new favorite song (this week) is by Amy Winehouse. Soul/R&B from the UK. The song is You Know I'm no Good....very catchy. Pick it up on iTunes for free.

Not a whole lot else going on right now. I'm trying to come up with a logo for my new "side" business...mural painting. Bunny (co-worker) came up with a wonderful name....Muralicious. I lOVE it! Kind of Fergalicious ya know.

Fam is doing good. Kids got great grades this quarter and are on spring break this week. Hope all is well with you all and stay posted!!!!!!!

New favorite recipe ( that even my kids will eat!!!! )

Chicken Salad:
Cubed white meat (chicken)
Halved seedless red grapes
sliced almonds
Grated carrots
thinly sliced celery
mayo
(wrap in wheat phillo, or stuff in pita)
MMMmmmmmm......
